The purpose of the thesis was to chart how the employees felt about well-being at work in a personnel-leasing company and which factors affect their well-being at work. The thesis was carried out in cooperation with a personnel-leasing operating in southern Finland. The aim of the company was to provide information on the well-being of employees. The employees’ perception of well-being at work helps the employee leasing company to develop employee well-being. Research questions were, how the employees felt about well-being at work in the employee leasing company and which factors affect their well-being at work. The thesis was carried out using quantitative and qualitative research methods and the material was collected using a structured online survey based on a theoretical framework, as well as a thematic interview. The online survey included background questions and 12 claims related to work well-being at work. 16 employees of the company replied to the questionnaire. The web questionnaire replies were tabulated, and the mean values of the replies were calculated. The theme interview was conducted as a group interview through a remote connection with four employees. There were four interview questions. The analysis was carried out with inductive content analysis. The employees who participated in the theme interview felt that their well-being at work was good in the company, but there was more deviation among those who responded to the online survey in relation to well-being at work. In the thematic interview, employees emphasized organizational factors, influence, and professional competence. Based on the online survey and thematic interview, the employees felt that the employee leasing company would allow flexible and meaningful work, as well as a comfortable working environment. As a development proposal, the employees wished for access to training opportunities. As a follow-up study, a functional study could be carried out on how to develop well-being at work and how to influence well-being at work. This barchelors’s thesis examines at the feedback questionnaires of prisoners in the Oulu Release Unit from 2018 to the spring of 2021. The purpose of the thesis was to study how prisoners would develop the release unit, how the values of the criminal sanctions agency are reflected in the unit, and how the interaction of staff and prisoners has worked from the prisoners' point of view. The theoretical framework for the thesis has been collected from Norway, as well and Finland, the values of the Criminal Sanctions Agency, and the perspective of professional interaction. The data used were feedback questionnaires targeted at the prisoners in the Oulu Release Unit, where the answers had been given anonymously. The material had been collected before the thesis began and the work was commissioned by the Oulu Prison. The data is processed using quantitative methods using cross tableing and different background variables. The open questions had been addressed through content analysis. Based on the results, the activities of the Release Unit were in line with the values of the Criminal Sanctions Agency and the interaction between staff and prisoners worked well. The development of leisure activities emerged an areas of development. The thesis also lights the possibility of responding to a feedback questionnaire for prisoners who move to another institution due to, for example, a substance abuse offence. Their perspective could provide the unit with valuable information on how the activities could be developed and how they experience the support of staff while in the unit.
